1. What are best practices for teaching writing to ELL elementary students?

2. What happens when ESL strategies for teaching writing are used as interventions for native English speakers who struggle in reading and writing?

3. What are the best practices for accelerating vocabulary development for ELL students?
4. What are effective strategies for secondary content area teachers working with ELL students?

Research Plan:

  Our group plans on collaboratively studying the book Teaching English Language Learners:  A  Differentiated Approach, written by Carol Rothenberg and Douglas Fisher.
